2.2 ข้อมูลการใช้งาน (Analytics)

5.1 ลิงก์พันธมิตร (Affiliate)
บางหมวดหมู่มีการ์ดแนะนำสินค้าท่องเที่ยว เช่น บัตรโดยสาร บัตรเข้าชม หรือทัวร์ ซึ่งมีข้อความกำกับว่า “โฆษณา” อย่างชัดเจน หากคุณกดลิงก์เหล่านั้น คุณจะออกจากแอปไปยังเว็บไซต์ของผู้ให้บริการภายนอก และเราอาจได้รับค่าตอบแทนเมื่อคุณซื้อสินค้า โดยราคาที่คุณจ่ายไม่เพิ่มขึ้น

- เข้าถึงและขอสำเนาข้อมูลของคุณ
- ขอแก้ไขข้อมูลที่ไม่ถูกต้อง
- ขอลบข้อมูล
- คัดค้านหรือขอให้ระงับการประมวลผล
- ถอนความยินยอม

หากแอปเพิ่มระบบประมวลผลเสียงบนเซิร์ฟเวอร์ของเราเอง หรือมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงสำคัญอื่น เราจะปรับปรุงนโยบายนี้และแจ้งให้ทราบภายในแอป
10. บัญชี Google (ไม่บังคับ)
การเข้าสู่ระบบด้วยบัญชี Google เป็นทางเลือก แอปใช้งานได้เต็มรูปแบบโดยไม่ต้องเข้าสู่ระบบ และหากคุณไม่เข้าสู่ระบบ ทุกอย่างที่อธิบายไว้ในหัวข้ออื่นของนโยบายนี้ยังคงใช้ตามเดิม
หากคุณเลือกเข้าสู่ระบบ เราจะจัดการข้อมูลต่อไปนี้เพิ่มเติม:

2.1 Stored on your device only
Kept in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted:
- Daily practice count
- Favourited phrases
- Per-phrase scores and attempt counts
- Practice streak
- Theme preference
Clearing site data in your browser settings deletes all of it immediately.
2.2 Usage analytics
We collect anonymous usage data via PostHog, keyed to a random UUID generated on your device that is not linked to your identity:

2.3 Microphone and speech — please read
We do not record, store, or transmit your audio to our servers. We operate no server that receives audio.
However, pronunciation practice uses your browser's speech recognition (Web Speech API). In some browsers — notably Google Chrome — your audio is sent to Google's servers for processing, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours. The app receives only the resulting text transcript.
Microphone permission is requested only when you tap the mic button, and you may decline. Everything else (phrasebook, audio playback, SOS cards) works without it.
2.4 Fonts
The app loads fonts from Google Fonts, which discloses your IP address to Google as part of normal web operation.
3. What we do not collect
If you sign in with a Google account, Section 10 also applies and prevails over any statement here that data stays only on your device or that we hold no account data.
- Name, email address, phone number
- Audio recordings of your voice
- Contacts, photos, or files on your device
- GPS location
- Card or payment details — purchases exist only in the Android app, Google Play processes all of them, and we never see them (the web version has no payment system)

We do not sell your data.
Some providers operate servers outside Thailand, so use of the app may involve international transfers.
5.1 Affiliate links
Some categories carry a card recommending a travel product — a transit card, an admission ticket, a tour — marked clearly as advertising. Following one takes you out of the app to an external provider, and we may earn a commission if you buy, at no additional cost to you.
- We do not send your personal data to those providers.
- A provider may set its own cookie to record that you arrived from this app; that is governed by their policy, not ours.
- Every feature of the app works without following any of these links, and nothing is rewarded or unlocked by clicking one.
6. Retention
- On-device data — until you delete it
- Analytics — no longer than 12 months
- Audio — not retained; we never receive it
7. Your rights
If you sign in with a Google account, Section 10 also applies and prevails over any statement here that data stays only on your device or that we hold no account data.
Under Thailand's PDPA (and the GDPR where applicable) you may:
- Access and obtain a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in Thailand, the PDPC)

As there are no user accounts, we cannot link a request to any particular device's
anonymous usage records. Everything held on your device is under your control and is
erased immediately by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
8. Children
This app is not directed at children. Minors should use it with guardian consent as required by applicable law.
9. Changes
If the app adds server-side audio processing, or anything else material changes, this policy will be updated and the change announced in-app.
10. Optional Google Account (Sign-in)
Signing in with a Google account is optional. The app works fully without it, and if you do not sign in, everything described in the other sections of this Policy applies unchanged.
If you choose to sign in, we additionally handle the following:
- Google account information (Firebase Authentication): your email address, display name, profile photo URL and an account ID (UID) assigned by Firebase. Google handles the sign-in itself: we never receive or store your Google password, and we request only basic profile access (openid, email, profile) — not your contacts, files or other Google data.
- Sign-up consent record: the version of these documents you agreed to, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the time you agreed. It is stored in Cloud Firestore and linked to your account ID.
- Learning progress (when sync is available): your streaks, completed phrases and bookmarks may be saved to your account so that you can restore them on another device. Without signing in, this data stays only on your device.
- Purchase status (RevenueCat): while you are signed in, RevenueCat links your Pro purchases to your account ID instead of an anonymous ID, so your Pro access follows your account in this app. Payment itself is handled only by Google Play; we never see your card details.
Your account is specific to this app. It is not shared with other K-Talkie apps, which keep their own separate accounts and purchases.
We use this data only to sign you in, keep your account and progress, and unlock the Pro access you purchased. The legal basis is your consent, given when you create the account. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and database access rules allow each account to read and write only its own records.
Where data is processed: account data is stored on Google Cloud servers in Seoul, South Korea (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, operated by Google LLC, USA), and RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) processes purchase status. This transfer is necessary to provide the account feature, and by signing in you consent to it.
Retention and deleting your account: we keep account data until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time in the app (Pro tab → My account → Delete account), on the account deletion page, or by emailing ktalkie2026@gmail.com from the email address of your Google account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, with no grace period: your sign-in account, consent record, synced progress and purchase-status link are erased. It does not affect purchase records kept by Google Play, data stored only on your device (removed by uninstalling the app), or an active Google Play subscription (cancel it in Google Play; unused paid time is not refunded).
